Barry’s owners went to the pet store looking for a bird on the 26th of July, 2019, and 27th they returned with none other than Barry himself. “He was clearly the one,” they said. Barry’s owners believe he is one and a half years old, although they have no evidence to back this up. Gloster canaries come in two varieties. The consort is one type, and the corona is another. The fringe is what distinguishes these two types. The consorts do not have a fringe, although the coronas do.

The birds with the cute “Beatles haircuts” aren’t very social with humans. They don’t get along with people as well as parrots do. Barry is a cute Gloster canary with a funky hairstyle.
